Fees

Therapy is an investment of time, money, effort, and energy - and it can be life-changing in return.

Private-pay session fees will be discussed via email or phone consult.

I am an in-network provider with Blue Cross Blue Shield of NC, including the State Health Plan, and I am usually able to accept any State or Federal BCBS plan so long as you are located in North Carolina at the time of our sessions. Your co-pay or co-insurance amount will be discussed prior to scheduling.

I may also provide documentation to submit for out-of-network reimbursement.

Payment methods accepted: Cash, Check, Square Invoice or Ivy Pay

For established clients, I am best reached by email and I am usually able to return a message within 24 hours on weekdays. I am not available for contact on weekends or holidays, so if you send me a message on a Friday you can expect a response on Monday unless that day is a holiday.

Cancellation policy

Cancellations made within 24 hours of the appointment time are charged at a rate of $75 regardless of whether you use insurance to pay for sessions. This cancellation fee may be waived if we are able to reschedule the appointment with the same M-F week.  This rescheduled session may occur in person or via video depending on mutual availability.

No-shows to appointments, cancellations occurring within 30 minutes of the start time or after the appointment start time are charged at your full session rate, regardless of availability to reschedule within the M-F week.

In the interest of fairness, I offer a no-charge late-cancel credit should I need to cancel our appointment within the 24 hour window and we cannot reschedule within the M-F week.  If I no-show to a scheduled appointment, I’ll offer a full session rate credit.

Good Faith Estimates

Following legislation passed in 2021, all uninsured or private-pay clients will receive a “Good Faith Estimate” before beginning therapy. This document is meant to broadly estimate costs based on possible duration of services. If applicable, A “Good Faith Estimate” will be made available to you prior to our first session.
